Samuel CONDLIFFE, son of James CONDLIFFE (1874- ) and Annie Florence EARDLEY (1869- ), was born in 1894 (calculated) in Crewe.1,2 He appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 in Lymm Cheshire aged 6.3 The address was: Yew Tree Terace. He appeared in the census on 2 April 1911 in Romily Near Stockport aged 16.2 The address was: 20 Compstall. On 2 April 1911 he was an Office Boy Bleach Works in Romily Near Stockport.2 Industry or Service with which worker is connected: Bleach Works
