Martha GIBSON (1875- )

1. Martha Hannah GIBSON, daughter of George GIBSON (1851- ) and Hannah HOLLINSHEAD (1855- ), was born in 1875.

Second Generation

2. George GIBSON, son of Charles GIBSON and Martha RUSHTON, was born in 1851 in Kidsgrove Staffordshire. He married Hannah HOLLINSHEAD in 1871.

 

3. Hannah HOLLINSHEAD was born in 1855 in Kidsgrove Staffordshire. She and George GIBSON had the following children:

 

1	Martha Hannah GIBSON (1875- )
	Shadrack GIBSON (1876-1941). Shadrack was born in 1876 in Kidsgrove Staffordshire. He married Ada HOLDING in 1901 in Nantwich Civil Marriage. He died in 1941.
	Leah GIBSON (1879- ). Leah was born in 1879. She married Ernest E WARDLE in 1900.

Third Generation

4. Charles GIBSON, son of Enoch GIBSON and Hannah WHOOLLEY, was christened in 1814 in Rushton Spencer Staffordshire. He married Martha RUSHTON in 1844 in St Leonard Ipstones. He died after 1891.

 

5. Martha RUSHTON was born in 1820 in Waterfall or Ipstones Staffordshire. She and Charles GIBSON had the following children:

Fourth Generation

6. Enoch GIBSON, son of Thomas GIBSON and Sarah JOHNSON, was born in 1778 in Buglawton Cheshire. He was christened in 1779 in Congleton Cheshire. He married Hannah WHOOLLEY in 1811 in Ipstones Staffs. He died in 1860 in Leekfrith Staffordshire.

 

7. Hannah WHOOLLEY was born in 1787 in Spalding Lincolnshire. She died in 1859 in Leekfrith Staffordshire aged 72. She and Enoch GIBSON had the following children:

 

4	Charles GIBSON (chr.1814, d.aft1891)
	Sarah GIBSON (chr.1814). Sarah was christened in 1814 in Rushton Spencer Staffordshire.
	Hannah GIBSON (chr.1816). Hannah was christened in 1816 in Rushton Spencer Staffordshire.
	George GIBSON (chr.1822). George was christened in 1822 in Rushton Spencer Staffordshire.
	Thomas GIBSON (1826- ). Thomas was born in 1826 in Staffordshire.
	William Edward GIBSON (1833-1905). William was born in 1833 in Staffs. He was christened in 1833 in Rushton Spencer Staffordshire. He married Martha CORBISHLEY in 1857 in St Edwards Leek. He died in 1905 in Whitehill Farm Kidsgrove Staffs. He was buried in 1905 in St Michael's Horton.

Fifth Generation

8. Thomas GIBSON was born in 1747. He married Sarah JOHNSON in 1778 in Astbury Cheshire. He died in 1816 aged 69.

 

9. Sarah JOHNSON was born in 1747. She died in 1833 aged 86. She and Thomas GIBSON had the following children:

 

6	Enoch GIBSON (1778-1860)
	Hannah GIBSON (1782-1843). Hannah was born in 1782. She died in 1843. She was buried in St Michael Horton.
	Maria GIBSON (1784-1846). Maria was born in 1784. She died in 1846.
	Thomas GIBSON (1791-1834). Thomas was born in 1791. He died in 1834 aged 43.
	Charles GIBSON (1794-1795). Charles was born in 1794 in Rushton Spencer Staffordshire. He was christened in 1794 in St Lawrence Rushton Spencer. He died in 1795 aged 1.
